Best butcher I've found. The best pork and beef. You can buy fresh meals such as stir fry, kebabs and cottage pie. All of which are delicious. The butchers are always happy to help and prep any cut you might want. I don't think it's any more expensive than super market meat but there's no comparison in terms of quality as this stuff has proper flavour. Only downside for me is the shop is a 3 hour drive for me but I make sure I fill the freezer each time I visit ?

Fantastic quality meat. Outstanding, informative and friendly service. The dry-ageing of beef is amazing using Himalayan salt to draw the moisture out. Their sausages are served for breakfast at The Bear and are very good. We ended up with a cool-box full of meat to bring back to London.

We asked a group of friends who live in Crickhowell which of the two butchers they prefer to use and this ellicited a very lively conversation - but they all said they tend to use both depending of what they are buying - fair play!

Absolutely fantastic butchers , better than the dark side , everything is fresh and so tasty & the steak kebabs in black garlic are to die for , we only visit while on holiday but they are the best butchers we have ever used and remember all locally sorced , staff are all very polite and helpful, just wished they delivered , well they do but not 350 miles down south lol

My favourite butchers ever!!

Fantastic selection of quality meats. Some superb marinated chops, breasts and kebabs. The black garlic kebabs are out of this world.

Outstanding butchers, outstanding quality, we bought Beef Kebabs that were absolutely delicious, we also bought sausages that were amazing, I would highly recommend this superb quality butchers. Set in the most beautiful location in Wales - Crickhowell high street, friendly and professional staff, fabulous food at incredible prices. I cannot wait to get back there for another shopping trip.
