I came in for chitlins right before Thanksgiving. Not trying to give a bad review on a black owned restaurant but I got to be honest. The chitlins had no flavor/taste at all. I drove from Frisco to their location I was highly disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend eating the rest of their food. If you can’t seasoned your food right then you lost me and many others as customers. Seasoned your chitlins then I probably give you a better rating.

Should be no stars. I wasted $35 on some bullshit. I went for the first time craving chitterlings. ? very disappointed. The sides was nasty. The chitterlings they just dropped it in the pot and didnt add no seasoning or nothing smh. Im mad. I should've known it was gone be bad when i walked in and seen a bunch of mexicans. Thought id give them a try will not be back!

One of the best hole in the wall places the food is absolutely great. Like you will never be disappointed in the any of the food you get here. And the owner is the coolest guy you'll meet. Very nice.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY , HORRIBLE FOOD , MADE ME VERY SICK . I THREW UP AFTER THE FIRST BITE IT TASTED LIKE THEY POURED SPOILED VINEGAR ALL OVER THE FOOD Food tasted sour . Very disgusting , they closed way before closing time so i wasn’t able to bring the food back and let them know how nasty it was . There was nothing on earth that could fix how the food tasted . Literally tasted old and spoiled like they reheated up food from weeks ago this place needs to be shut down .

The only thing really worth getting is the meat loaf even though it’s a bit over cooked. The Mac and cheese, broccoli with cheese sauce, and beans are all under seasoned. The mashed potatoes and cheese sauce are too wet and just causes a runny mess over all the food, the container and bag. Not worth the $28, also prices on the menu are not accurate.

Went for lunch with my brother on a whim and I’m so glad we stumbled into this Black-owned spot. there was only one person working and I will assume it’s his place and everything he had on the hot bar looked delicious.

I opted for the soul food plate which came with a meat and three sides (I doubled up Mac and cheese though). I got meatloaf and green beans along with the mac & cheese. It also came with a nice-sized piece of cornbread which was just the right amount of cakey-ness that I like. overall the meal was very good and I just add a little pepper to the veggies and pasta it was good to go.

My brother opted for the hot link combo which came with hot links and a side. they were also really good as he shared one with me. He had a choice of two bbq sauces and he opted for the more mild versus spicy option, which he said was just perfect for him.

*note that listed prices on the menu are no longer accurate and he has a note stating as much, but new pricing is not listed anywhere so just ask before ordering so you won't be surprised.

Mr. freeney has been doing bbq for 32 years. He has a kind and eager to serve attitude. His portions are generous and his cooking will remind of Grandma’s cooking.
