On Feb 2 2024 was my dad's funeral. The owner of the place was EXTREMELY rude to my family members and myself as well. Funeral was from 4pm-8pm. This was time that should have been utilized for the family and guest to pay their respects to my dad who passed at 89 years old. All together, the time we actually got to spend was 3.5 hours, although my mom paid for 4 hours, owner kept coming in and having his "meetings" speaking about things he had already told us. During one of his many, speeches of reminding us that he is the Owner and "CEO" as he kept reminding us, my niece was sitting down bitting her nails and he stopped talking and in front of everyone asked that she not do that while he was speaking. I asked my niece what was it owner has said to her, and owner then drew his attention to me asking me if I had an issue, and for some odd reason asked me if I had a problem understanding standing English and Spanish. Took everything in me to not snap. My mother, who lost her partner of 51 years was at my dad's side holding his hand with one hand crying and rubbing his head with the other, was summoned like a child to sit down in front of a packed room, and in front of everyone was told to please not touch her partner of 51 years. Next day I did speak to the son of the owner about his dad's rudeness and unprofessional antics and the son was very apologetic. Moral of the story is this, horrible experience their, not due to son, but the owner. Put yourself in my mom's shoes, being be littled by a stranger as she is grieving her soul mate. Owner had several negative run ins with family members, all kept coming to me during funeral asking how was it possible we chose a place with such a rude person. We went from feeling sad due to the mourning, to feeling angry due to the total lack of respect. To my family I'm sorry you had to deal with this, to my mom forget what owner did to you and just remember that PaPi is in heaven now with Jesus. I gave one star because that is the lowest rating I can give.
I added a picture of the "Owner, the CEO" as he kept reminding us over and over again during the many interruptions of my dad's funeral. Two days have passed and the family is STILL talking about the disrespect that man not only showed us, but to my deceased dad as well.
