i go here for the practice range. its free to use but that's all it is. you must provide all equipment and shag your balls yourself.

fun golf course to get out and exercise. other than that it’s a waste of time. the only benefit is it’s cheap. bathrooms are top 5 most disgusting bathrooms i’ve ever seen, guy at front desk is lazy and could not care what you have to say, plays video games on his phone and a DAMN PLAYSTATION all day. this course is infested with goathead stickers and grass burs with no efforts to remove these. you must clean your shoes before you leave in order to not bring home stickers to destroy your yard aswell. for a course where you walk for 3+ hours, this should be a problem they are attempting to fix.

Disappointing to come back to play what was once a somewhat decent course. I won’t give the fairways much hype as they have never been much anyways. The greens on the other hand are terrible to even try putting on.

Ok little 9 hole for a quick round and cheap. $10 weekdays $12 weekends. There are pull carts ($4) and clubs ($10) also available to rent. Fairways and greens are a bit rough and slow but just adds to the challenge! They are working on it and trying to making it better as much as they can! The city doesn't let them water much (maybe set up some sort of water reclamation area) and I think they don't have much of a budget to work with. Need more people playing to bring in revenue. Also, here are a few suggestion. Put in some alternate tee boxes about pitching distance away from the greens, string up some lights, and make it a night time pitch and putt during the hot months of the year. Clean up under the bridge to the 1st tee. Add a railing to the steps on hole 3 and move the barrier up against the wall. Remove the dead duck in the driveway!

This is barely what you would call a golf course, more of a desert-park with tee boxes and holes. However, it is a great place to practice golf as it is very cheap and the staff is nice. Military and student discounts make this a no-brainer to do a quick 9 to practice for Quicksand or the like.

Awful for the price. Run down with sand pits in most of the greens and no fairways to speak of. Was fine for the old prices, but with the new jacked up prices it is not worth paying that much for 9 poorly maintained holes. (Also is currently cash only and has been for over a month. Which is a pain.)

This place is great. Come here with my brother and my buddy all the time. I'm honestly really bad at golf, but the owner is super cool and nice, and the course is right in the middle of beautiful San Angelo.
